Died author of "Raindrops Keep Fallin 'on My Head"
Deceased American lyricist Hal David, the 91-year-old victim of a heart attack.

David wrote many timeless themes with musician Burt Bacharach in the 60s and 70s, including "Raindrops Keep Fallin 'on My Head" (made famous in the voice of singer BJ Thomas), "I Say a Little Prayer," "Walk on By, "" That's What friends Are For "and" What the World Needs Now is Love. "
Dionne Warwick, one of the singers who played many of the songs written by the duo (who this year lost her cousin Whitney Houston), has commented on the death of David:
"I feel that I have lost another member of my family, but I know it'll always be with me wherever singing their lyrics."
David died on 1st September in Los Angeles, California.
